Some people jot down in a little black notebook. All the dates and the times with the name and the place. And if they’re running late, they don’t even think to hit the brakes. But the clock doesn’t talk to me that way. Some people see their hours and they add twenty minutes. Just a safety net, to hurry up and wait. But the hours that you post mean less to me than most.
